Mark Wielaard: New GPG key.
Finally created a new GPG key using gnupg. The old one was a DSA/1024 bits one and 8 years old. The new one is a RSA/2048 bits one. I will use the new one in the future to sign any release tarballs I might create. pub 2048R/57816A6A 2011-01-29 Key f...

Changing Log Levels in Embedded GlassFish
This blog shows how to programatically change the log levels of a particular logger in Embedded GlassFish.
I did a search on the internet for information on how to change the log levels of a particular logger in Embedded GlassFish. The only information I could find was http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/821-1208/gjlfe?l=enamp;a=view which requires changing $JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/logging.properties. But I am not comfortable changing it at the JDK level.
So, I wrote the following piece of code. May be the Embedded GlassFish users will find it useful:
.ln { color: rgb(0,0,0); font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; }
.s0 { }
.s1 { color: rgb(0,0,255); }
.s2 { color: rgb(128,128,128); }
.s3 { color: rgb(255,0,255); }
.s4 { color: rgb(0,0,128);
import org.glassfish.embeddable.*;
// Create Embedded GlassFish
GlassFish glassfish = GlassFishRuntime.bootstrap().newGlassFish();
// Set the log levels. For example, set #039;deployment#039; and #039;server#039; log levels to FINEST
Logger.getLogger().getHandlers()[0].setLevel(Level.FINEST);
Logger.getLogger(javax.enterprise.system.tools.deployment).setLevel(Level.FINEST);
Logger.getLogger(javax.enterprise.system).setLevel(Level.FINEST);
// Start Embedded GlassFish and deploy an application.
// You will see all the FINEST logs printed on the console.
glassfish.start();
glassfish.getDeployer().d...
