No more NetBeans 6.10
NetBeans 6.10 has been renamed to NetBeans 7.0. This year there has been a bit of uncertainty about the name of the next major NetBeans release due to the fact that Oracle wants to keep it in sync with the next major Java release. We all know that a few weeks ago Oracle announced that a trimmed down version of Java 7 will be released in 2011 and this is the reason behind the NetBeans roadmap small change. The beef is substantially the same; the next milestone (M2) will be available in a matter of one week. The roadmap as usual is available here.
