2007 JavaOne Conference Gets Greener With Significant Efforts To Conserve, Recycle and Reuse
As part of the company's ongoing Eco Responsibility Initiative, Sun Microsystems, Inc. (NASDAQ: SUNW), today announced more about its efforts to make next week's 2007 JavaOne conference more environmentally friendly. The company has created a broad eco campaign for the Conference â from reducing paper promotional materials to encouraging attendees to bike to the conference. In addition, Sun is collaborating with the Conference location, Moscone Center in San Francisco, to expand upon the facility's federally recognized and award-winning recycling, conservation and energy efficiency practices during the conference.
